I have Accelerated Reader in my Library. After I read the story to my class, I am going to call it "Read to Self," when they are reading and taking the quiz.

classdojo a lovely new free online tool (August 2011) for rewarding good behaviour and recording off task or unwelcome behaviour in real time (using smart phone and computer/iwb) This could be tailored by individual teachers/librarians and used to reward pps for their responses to 5 a day.
